Danny Williams' promoter Frank Warren has raised hopes of a world title fight against WBC champion Vitali Klitschko for the British boxer.

Williams knocked out former world champion Mike Tyson in the fourth round on Saturday to leap to prominence in the heavyweight division.

"Klitschko and Danny - no-one is bothered about the other two champions," Warren told BBC Five Live.

"Danny is the man. The heavyweight division has come alive with Danny."

Warren added: "Hopefully it will set Danny up for life.

"He can capitalise on all the hard work, overcoming all the self doubts and establish himself as one of the best heavyweights on the planet - and hopefully one of the richest."

"I am delighted but I believed we could win which is why I made it the fight."

Williams made about £150,000 from the fight, while Tyson netted £4m, though he only gets to keep £1m as the rest goes towards paying off his huge debts.

Some pundits, such as BBC Sport's Steve Bunce, estimate Williams could make several million pounds if he now manages to land another big fight.

In addition to Klitschko, current world heavyweight champions are: Chris Byrd (IBF), John Ruiz (WBA) and Lamont Brewster (WBO).
