Shannon Sharpe, all-time leader in catches by a tight end, has signed with CBS to leave the field and enter the TV studio.
The NFL's career leader in receptions and yards at his position will replace Deion Sanders on The NFL Today pregame show, CBS spokeswoman LeslieAnne Wade said Monday. She said the official announcement will be made Tuesday. He's got a big mouth, and he's funny. Way better than (Celene) Deion. Nic eswitch, CBS, now I know which pre-game show I'll be watching this fall!
