12 minute man Dan Hinote will miss several games due to a concussion. Hinote has not had much production this year. He only has 8 points in 51 games and a -6 rating this year. Colorado recalled defensemen Clark to replace him.

News Source Associated Press
DENVER -- Colorado Avalanche right wing Dan Hinote will be out indefinitely due to a concussion.

The Avalanche placed Hinote on injured reserve and recalled defenseman Brett Clark from Hershey of the AHL in time to play Thursday night against Detroit.

I don't think the Avs are going to be hurt by this loss. Other than the defensive play Hinote brings and the almost 13 minutes of icetime a game. Clark, a defensemen, was called up to replace him. All in all I don't think the Avs will even blink at this loss.
