The list of injured LA Kings continues to grow. LA placed defensemen Lubomir Visnovsky on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury suffered on
Saturday Feb 1st. Despite having a large number of key players injured, LA is in 8th in the West but clinging to a 1 point lead over the Blues.

The move was made retroactive to Sunday. Taking Visnovsky's roster spot is right wing John Tripp, who was activated from injured reserve.
Visnovsky joins fellow defenseman Aaron Miller and wingers Ziggy Palffy and Martin Straka on the IR. The Kings also have been without center Jason
Allison and winger Adam Deadmarsh all season due to post-concussion injuries.
This is a team that could be fighting for number one in the West. But with all the injuries they are going to have a tough time just holding onto a
playoff spot. Injuries have plagued the Kings for the past few seasons. Last year, several of their top scorers missed a majority of the season. I
just hope that injuries are not what keep the Kings out of the post season.
