Newz Forum: BASKETBALL: Stinson, Unranked Cyclones take down No. 15 Jayhawks in Ames

Back to the way it was. Iowa State beat KU at Hilton Colosseum 68-61. Stinson helped the Cyclones to their biggest win this season. Scoring 11 points in the 2nd half and capping it off with a floater with 32 seconds left. Sullivan helped the Clones with five 3 pointers and 17 total points. It was the Cyclones first win against KU since sweeping them in 2001.

AMES, Iowa (AP) -- Iowa State's Jared Homan flung the ball toward the ceiling. Jake Sullivan raised his fists above his head, then sought out teammate Curtis Stinson and hugged him.

I can say that I am not a huge basketball fan. But I always love it when Iowa State can beat any Big 12 team in any sport. I did not even bother to watch the game, figured it would be just like it has been the last few years. I cheered loudly when I saw the final.

I just have one final thing to say.
