Wow i never heard of this untill i looked in the paper and was reading about a documentry hear in the UK
to be shown on channel 4 on monday 9.00pm "Boy who gave birth to his twin"

Its about a boy who was operated on for a cyst in his tummy..

They made a shocking discovery that the actual reson the
seven year olds abdomen was distended was he had his own twin living inside of him, complete with hair, limbs and teeth.

The phenomenon, known as foetus in fetu (a baby inside a baby) is very rare. This boy was one of 70 cases ever recorded

there is also talk about a women in the US whos scan has showed she was carrying a baby within a baby
like ornamental Russian dolls...

This has happened a number of times. When one twin doesn't develope. The egg doesn't seperate. Only one developes, but it still has part of the other one imbedded in them.

My daughter went to school with a girl that should have had a twin. It was in side of her and was removed after birth. It was small not developed. Hers was caught at birth, she was lucky.

Interesting story. I've never heard of anything like that before. That would be really neat to have a look at the fetus.
