Excelsior have announced they have reached agreement with Tottenham for the sale of Mounir Elhamdaoui. It is believed the 20-year-old has been on
trial with the North Londoners and Martin Jol has moved quickly to head off any rival interest in the midfielder. Jol has been looking in his homeland
for fresh blood and Elhamdaoui, who has dual Dutch-Moroccan nationality, is on his way to White Hart Lane. The deal will be a permanent one after the
two clubs thrashed out the terms and it is now up to the player to finalise his personal financial package with Spurs officials.
