Liverpool: Hamburg eye Hamann

Hamburg have revealed that they are interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann. The German international is out of contract at the end of the season, but The Reds have said that they are close to handing him a fresh deal. Rafa Benitez is keen to offer the 31-year-old a 12-month extension to his contract, but that has not stopped interest from his native country.

i cant see him going, i think if it was maybe bayern or dortmund, it might be a different story as they two are massive german clubs playing in the champions league every season.
