Chelsea: Huth snubs Schalke offer

Chelsea defender Robert Huth has rejected an offer from Schalke to return to Germany.

The powerful centre half was wanted by the Bundesliga runners-up but he has shunned the approach as he is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge. Huth had already turned down the chance to join Bayern Munich and has now given Schalke similarly short shrift. The 20-year-old Germany international remains hopeful he can become a first-team regular in Jose Mourinho’s collection of stars.

hehe.... hes had his chance to leave and he didnt take it, i dont think Mourinho has said you aint wanted here either so i guess there is a chance for the player.

He will find it extremelly hard to get into the team, maybe hes had assurances about featuring

There has been a few clubs interested in him and it looks like he doesn't want to go anywhere. They must be paying him well or something..

yer, he prob is getting paid well. If he aint first team though by Xmas i expect him to go out on loan or leave for good
