after the battling victory over pompey the other day, jose mourinho says the team can now win by scraping results

"I told my players that this was not a game where we could show our quality," said Mourinho.

"This was a game to show that they wanted to be champions.

"It was a really big victory for us.

"I told my players that this was not a match to show hoe great they were, how well they could dribble and how well they could pass.

"It was a game to show that they were the top guy, that they wanted to win and go home with three points."

i think there 4 wins over the xmas period, which was gonna make there players more tired than usual goes to show that they have that extra capability. just winning and getting 3 points. they dont need to play there best game.

its a good mixture of players and they are doing the works
