Chelsea are appealing against Mateja Kezman's sending off in the pre-season friendly against AS Roma.
The FA has confirmed it will deal with the matter on 9 August.

The summer signing was dismissed for violent conduct in the US after a clash with Olivier Dacourt and was given a three-match ban.

The suspension is due to start on 17 August and Kezman will miss the away games at Birmingham, Crystal Palace and the home fixture against Southampton.

Chelsea's preparations for facing Manchester United this weekend were given a boost with two of their strikers now available for the start of the season.

Summer arrival Mateja Kezman won his appeal to the Football Association to overturn a three-match ban, while Adrian Mutu pledged his future to the club after a move to Juventus fell through.

Manager Jose Mourinho now has a selection dilemma with Kezman and Mutu competing with Eidur Gudjohnsen and Didier Drogba for a starting place.
