Bolton Wanderers: Davies set for new deal

Kevin Davies has insisted that he is hoping to agree his new contract with Bolton before their match against Middlesbrough at the weekend.

The former Southampton striker has had a huge impact at The Reebok Stadium, and scored the winner against Newcastle on Sunday to help The Trotters back into the top four.

Manager Sam Allardyce has been keen to tie Davies to a new deal with the club, and the 27-year-old has no intention of leaving Bolton.
