Arsenal and Manchester United have promised an end to the public feud between managers Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson.

The clubs meet in an eagerly-anticipated Premiership game on February 1, and both managers have stoked the flames ahead of the clash with recent inflammatory comments.

However, the fierce rivals have insisted they have received assurances from Wenger and Ferguson that the row is at an end, and claim both coaches will now limit themselves to pre and post-match analysis of the forthcoming game at Highbury.

i think its said the police came out and said, oi you too, behave yourselfs lol. and with the big match coming soon. things neeed to improve. though, whoever loses, its going to blow back up again
