Arsenal made an impressive start to the Barclays Premiership season at Goodison Park.

Arsene Wenger's men gave a dominant display to prove they will not be relinquishing their crown lightly.

The champions brushed aside Everton's feeble challenge 4-1 with goals from Dennis Bergkamp, Jose Reyes, Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires, with a Lee Carsley strike the home side's only consolation.

noticed the team line up pires came off the bench and there was no patrick viera, the young guy fabregous soler is supposed to look a cracking player, and i think he just 17
