Newcastle United: Hall - B. Robson would have got us relegated

Sir Bobby Robson would have taken Newcastle down if he had remained in charge, according to deputy chairman Douglas Hall.

Hall believes that the decision to get rid of Robson, and bring in Graeme Souness has already been justified - despite patchy form since his arrival.

"We had to get rid of Sir Bobby Robson because he would have got us relegated," Hall told the Sunday Mirror.

hmmm..i cant say i believe this, robson always does good with teams

they where having a bad time, but to say he would have got them relegated, i dont believe it would have happened

wonder what bobby will have to say about this,

personally, i think theres more chance of souness getting them relegated
