Portsmouth are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a deal for Irish winger Andy Reid.

Reid has found it tough to hold down a place in the first team at White Hart Lane under Martin Jol and Pompey are ready to offer him a Premiership lifeline.

Reid, i know the name, who'd he play for before?

at Spurs though, they have a good midfield, perhaps too many of them so i think they wuold be happy to get cash for this guy again

He was at Nottingham Forest and transferred to spurs last year

Yeah, he came in a deal with Dawson who has been great at the back... Reid has looked ok in a few games but he looks overweight to me, like he ate all the pies...
