Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren is understood to be considering a bid for Fulham stopper Zat Knight.

McClaren got the chance to see at first hand what Knight could do as the Fulham star joined England for their tour of America.

Knight made his debut and performed well, which is believed to have led McClaren to consider a bid for the 25-year-old.

steve seems to like the huge defenders at the back, and it does have an advantage.

he got capped a while ago and is looking pretty good, i think he young too so he can improve
