European: Superboeren sign Sousa

De Graafschap have reinforced their squad with the loan capture of Ricardo Sousa from Hannover. The Portuguese midfielder only joined Hannover in the summer, but immediately fell out of favour with coach Ewald Lienen. Sousa only made five appearances before the winter break and threatened to leave in January if his situation did not improve. The 26-year-old was expected to return to his native Portugal, but he has made a surprise move to De Graafschap.

it sounds like his threat worked, its a loan deal so he must be hoping its made permanent. or maybe give him time to get enough games to impress another team. i doubt he will want to go back there to germany to sit on the bench and not play
