Metz have strengthened their squad for the second half of the season by bringing in Bartholomew Ogbeche and Ivan Gvozdenovic on loan. The duo have
arrived at Metz on deals until the end of the season after being allowed to leave by their respective clubs. Ogbeche links up with Metz from fellow
Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain, where the Nigeria international has endured a frustrating campaign. The striker had started just one match for PSG
this term and recently voiced his determination to move on during the transfer window.
Ligue 1 high-flyers Lille were interested in the 20-year-old but Ogbeche has settled for a switch to Metz. Joining Ogbeche at Metz is Serbia &
Montenegro international Gvozdenovic, who has signed from Club Brugge. Gvozdenovic inked a five-year contract with the Belgian side when he arrived at
the club from Crvena Zvezda in the summer of 2003. But the midfielder is no longer thought of as a regular and will aim to revive his career during
his loan stint at Metz.
