Serie A side Lazio have made an enquiry regarding Atalanta stopper Cesare Natali. The Rome side are looking to bolster their defence during the
January transfer window, although Atalanta are not keen to sell a key member of their defence.
Atalanta are currently rooted at the bottom of the Italian top flight, six points off their nearest rivals, and need all their top players if they are
to mount an unlikely bid for survival. The 25-year-old has been a bright point in an otherwise disappointing season for the team from Bergamo, and
even though Lazio are offering Italian international Paolo Negro in exchange, a deal looks unlikely until the summer.
