European: Monaco ready to free Nonda?

Monaco could be ready to release injury-plagued striker Shabani Nonda.

The Congo marksman missed the majority of last season with a knee injury, and has now picked up a thigh strain.

Despite a number of attacking players having departed the Principality side the club are losing patience with Nonda.

The likes of Ludovic Giuly, Jerome Rothen, Dado Prso and Fernando Morientes have left, although Javier Chevanton and Mohamed Kallon have been brought in.

It is even being speculated Monaco are circulating the African's name around for transfer with the club linked with Adrian Mutu and Javier Saviola.
