Boxing: HARRISON'S TRAINING BACKED BY DAD

Trainer Peter Harrison has rubbished claims by son Scott's next opponent that the WBO featherweight champion has not shown him enough respect.

Harrison senior laughed at comments from 34-year-old Colombian challenger Victor Polo that the Cambuslang cruncher was not treating him seriously enough after returning from a three-week training camp in Spain which made him miss Christmas with his close family.

But Peter insists his son is in the shape of his life and that he is in no mood to let a shock defeat get in the way of his dreams.
