: The eagerly anticipated world light heavyweight title fight between Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson is a done deal for December 18, according to reliable sources.
The two Florida fighters who both chinned Roy Jones Junior this year will collide at the Staple Center in Los Angles for the right to be known as the very best fighter in the 175lbs (12stone 7lbs) weight class. It is looking most likely that the only official title to be on the line will the Tarver's International Boxing Organisation belt, as 'the Magic Man' will be stripped of his WBC title for not facing mandatory Paul Briggs; likewise 'Road Warrior' Johnson will be stripped of his IBF belt for failing to defend against Rico Hoye.
