Boxing: Williams scraps bout

Danny Williams' fight against Oleg Maskaev, scheduled for 9 October, has been cancelled.

The British heavyweight was due to fight the Uzbekistani for the vacant WBU title in London.

But Williams' forthcoming WBC world heavyweight title bout against Vitali Klitschko in December has meant he has had to withdraw.
