Boxing: Dimitrenko and Ullrich headline in Braunschweig

Thomas Ulrich and Alexander Dimitrenko will be following in the footsteps of their famous stable mates when they step into the ring on October 16 on an event of Universum Box-Promotion at Volkswagenhalle in Braunschweig.

Two years ago two other fighters, one at heavyweight and one at light heavyweight, attracted huge crowds to that same huge sports arena, located 1,5 hours south of Hamburg. In September 2002 Dariusz Michalczewski fought his second battle against American Richard Hall at Volkswagenhalle, whereas seven months earlier Dr. Vitali Klitschko knocked out Vaughn Bean in round 11 at the same place.
