The winner of next month's heavyweight clash between James Toney and Rydell Booker will become the WBC's number one contender.

The pair fight for the lightly-regarded IBA heavyweight title, as well as the WBC Continental Americas championship, on September 23.

The winner will then in line for a bout with WBC world champion Vitali Klitschko.
