July 30th, 2004 marks the long awaited return of Iron Mike Tyson. His opponent, British fighter Danny Williams does not plan to come into this fight as just another tune up, he is coming into this fight to pull off the upset.
BoxingScene caught up with Williams to shoot a few questions regarding his match with Tyson.
BoxingScene: Many of the fans in America have no idea who you are, do you think many fight fans and even Tyson may be overlooking you due to the fact that you are not as popular as some of the other heavyweights out there?
Williams: I think that many of the people who will watch this fight will expect to see me get knocked out but that wont happen. I'm unknown to the American fans but so was Buster Douglas when he fought Mike Tyson. He wasnt given a chance by anyone in the sport and pulled off the biggest upset in boxing history. I plan to pull off the upset in July.
