WHILE Uracca Leow Hoay Sim bagged three gold medals and Selangor the top cycling State with a total of six gold, three silver and a bronze medal,
it was the rise of Fatehah Mustapa that epitomised the spirit and vision behind the creation of the Malaysia Games.
Asian Junior Championships bronze medallist Uracca was the hot favourite to deliver since she has been dominating the local scene together with senior Noor Azian Alias since the start of the year, and what she did was simply consolidate that fact.
Thus, the haul of one gold, one silver and three bronze medals by Terengganu's 15-year old Fatehah must surely steal the limelight.
