The Eagles scored 253/3 to beat the Titans by seven wickets in their SuperSport Series clash in Centurion on Sunday.

The single outstanding matter of any weight in the SuperSport series is winning. This was emphasised by the Eagles in dramatic fashion in Centurion, where they snatched victory in fading light with a mere three deliveries to spare.

The visitors chased a generous 248 for victory off 53 overs, after Titans captain Daryll Cullinan had declared his second-innings closed on 216 for seven.

The result was achieved thanks in no small measure to an undefeated third-wicket partnership of 131 between Ryan Bailey and Morne van Wyk.
