The initial buyrate for last month’s WWE PPV, Backlash has come in at about 275,000 buys. That is down from the about 295,000 which the show scored the year before.

Tickets for the RAW/SmackDown super show in Anaheim for late June, which went on sale yesterday, are already sold out.

There is an article over at the News Gleaner website where it is reported that Shawn Michaels received a service award from Holy Family University.

On the latest issue of the Raw Magazine with Batista on the cover, has an article about former wrestler Damien Demento. The article tells us what he has been up to since he left pro wrestling, which is creating art sculptures. Other stars featured in past issues include Bastion Booger, Big Bully Busick and Lanny Poffo with recent pictures of how they look like now too. The "Where Are They Now?" page looks to be regular feature in the magazine.

Trish Stratus has been ordered by her doctor to get at least six weeks of bed rest due to her back troubles. She is scheduled to be returning sometime in June.

Gene Snitsky has been out of action the past few weeks because he has a blood clot in his stomach. There is no update on when he is returning.

I wonder why the buy rate was down....... probably because the build up and matches sucked. Stop creating false rivalry and making up history, we need long running feuds like the old days when wrestling was entertaining.
