In what must have been a bittersweet few days for Mick Foley, the former WWE champion's first novel "Tietam Brown" was published, his book tour kicked
off, and his home in Florida was destroyed in a fire.
Foley's novel was released this past Tuesday. Foley opened up a book tour on Wednesday evening at the Barnes & Noble store on Astor Place in
Manhattan, reading excerpts from the book and doing a Question and Answer session for about 200 fans.
This past Monday, however, Foley's house in Pensacola, Florida was destroyed in a fire, according to a report on www.pensacolanewsjournal.com.
According to the article, the damage (estimated at $300,000) was so severe, the cause may never be known. Foley, who currently lives in Long Island,
New York with his family, had not lived at the Florida location in years and the house was on the market for sale.
