ESPN did a franchise ranking poll that included all 121 major sports franchises, I thought it was pretty interesting, They determined the rankings based on eight categories:

1. Bang for the Buck - Revenues directly from fans divided by wins in the past three years
2. Fan Relations - Ease of access to players, coaches & management
3. Ownership - Honesty; loyalty to players and city
4. Affordability - Price of tickets, parking and concessions
5. Stadium experience - Friendliness of environment; quality of game-day promotions
6. Players - Effort on the field; likability off it
7. Coach/manager - Strong on-field leadership
8. Championships - Titles already won or expected -- soon

Here are the Top 5 franchises using their formula:

1. Green Bay Packers
2. Arizona Diamondbacks
3. San Antonio Spurs
4. Sacramento Kings
5. Dallas Mavericks

i enjoyed seeing this in the magazine it was very fun to see what the best teams were, and were your favorite team stood. I thought it was funny to see some crappy teams ahead of my favorite teams. Green Bay defientaly has to be number 1 with all those cheese heads.

Football- Cowboys (94)
Hockey- Flyers (67)
Basketball- Sixers (24)

I thought the "Americas Team" Cowboys would be much higher than 94. I'm a Philly boy, but man I hate the Eagles!!

Baseball: Yankees 27
Football: Buffalo Bills 47

Hokcey: NY Rangers 109

Ouch the Rangers are one of the worst teams on the list. Well the Bengals are but that is self-explanitory.

Detroit Red Wings - 8
Detroit Pistons - 13

and 2 horrribly rated teams
Detroit Lions - 115
Detroit Tigers - 116

I guess you can tell which sports get the most support over here in Detroit lol.

but the teams that are my favorites in football and baseball got decent ratings (I only tolerate the Lions and I absolutely hate the Tigers)
