Tennis: Clijsters: Leave me alone!!

Kim Clijsters has pleaded to be left alone after announcing she was breaking up with her Australian boyfriend Lleyton Hewitt four months from their marriage.

"I hope everyone will now show me and my family and friends a little respect and comprehension by keeping their opinions to themselves," the former world No 1 said on her website.

She dismissed reports the two prospective mothers-in-law had fallen out.

"Complete lies," she said.

And added: "Where have we got to that journalists are camped outside my home and follow me."

Hewitt, due to play in the Paris Masters tournament next Monday, is reported to be devastated by the public split.

why in the world would she break up with him? i mean, he's awesome, and a good looking guy (no i'm not gay) and she's like, the ugliest female on the face of the earth. he was the best thing she had going for her. what a stupid dope.

Yeah she isn't the greatest looking girl and should have been grateful he even looked at her....
