American Football: Brett Favre

Has there been any word yet about Brett Favre retiring next year or staying at Green Bay?

Speculation is he'll be retiring, but I haven't heard if he is leaning one way or the other. Personally, I'd like to see him go to a team that is close to pulling off a Super Bowl victory for one more ring.

No... I want him to stay in GB. He just doesn't really fit well anywhere else. And I believe he is 15 or so TD's from becoming the all-time leader, passing Marino's 420. He's also nearing the All time pass yards, also held by Marino. Many say he stayed this year to try and surpass these marks this year. If that's true, expect Favre to play next year.

I keep hearing Favre say the stats mean nothing, which I don't buy. He's going to stay around and break Marino's records even if he throws a ton of INTs late in his career.

I live here in Wisconsin,and the overall view of the fans and local media,is that he will return for 1 more season.
If not,then tonight vs the Vikings,will be his last game in Green Bay.
His final game would be on the road versus the Bears.

I personaly he comes back next year.
For such a young team,it did fairly well this year.
