Bears' Urlacher Injured; Set to Undergo an MRI

Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports Chicago Bears LB Brian Urlacher (hamstring) was forced to leave practice Wednesday, July 28, after suffering a hamstring injury. He walked under his own power to a cart and then was driven off the field. He's set to undergo an MRI Thursday, July 29. "He got a pretty good pull," said general manager Jerry Angelo. "We'll know more (Thursday). (I'm) not really optimistic that it's going to be something that's going to be a few days. (It will be) probably a little longer than that. We'll see for sure (Thursday)."

Not a big Bears fan here, but a huge Urlacher fan. He is the prototypical linebacker, quick and powerful. He plays every down like its the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl. If I could have any job in the world, I'd want his.

Hope he does well in his recovery, I saw something on this earlier.
