Giants expected to cut Collins

It doesn't look like Giants QB Kerry Collins will get a chance to tutor Eli Manning. Newsday's Neil Best reports that Collins believes that the Giants will release him in the next few days.

Maddox upset with Steelers

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ed Bouchette reports that the Steelers' decision to draft QB Ben Roethlisberger has upset starter Tommy Maddox. Maddox is expected to sit down with the Steelers today to discuss his future with the club.

Will Bears sign Warner?

The Bears aren't ready to close the door on Rams QB Kurt Warner. The Chicago Tribune's David Haugh reports that Bears GM Jerry Angelo hasn't ruled out signing the former MVP.

Packers still working on deal with Couch

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot reports that the Packers are still trying to acquire Browns QB Tim Couch. The Packers have been in contract talks with Couch for some time, but the two sides have yet to agree on the length of the deal.

Buccaneers may seize Gold

The Buccaneers could sign Broncos free agent Ian Gold. Although there are doubts about the health of Gold's left knee, a source told the Tampa Tribune's Roy Cummings that the Bucs are "ready to take a chance on" the linebacker.

yeah thats what i read online but ya never know, i wonder where hes goin to....collins is a decent player, i wouldnt be surprised if a team like arizona would pick him up...they seem to be in desperate need of a decent QB

i haven't given up on couch just yet, I'm probably gonna keep him in my one league
