I just read an amazing piece of trivia on my day-by-day calendar. Fifty-seven years ago, on April 27, Pete Milne became the only player in major league baseball history to pinch-hit an inside-the-park grand slam home run for the one and only home run of his career. The hit gave the New York Giants an 11-8 victory over the Brooklyn Dodgers at the Polo Grounds.

3 days ago I had the same thing... Only it wasn't a pinch-hit, and it wasn't my one-and-only, and it wasn't in the MLB, and it wasn't in the Polo grounds.

But they were close enough to being the same :sport-smiley-019:

Hmmmm. The Polo Grounds? Gee, I wonder which part of the park it was hit to. Lololol.
