major league baseball has finally stepped up and gotten tough on steroids, they players association, under pressure from congress, pretty much went with Seligs plan that calls for a 50 game ban for first offenders, 100 games for a second offense, and a lifetime ban for a third......

it's high time that they got the deal done, i doubt that they would have moved if it wasn't for congress

If Congress hadn't done anything, this wouldn't have happened at all.

I didn't think that it was a good idea for Congress to be involved. But, I saw Senetor McCain on The Daily Show the other night, and I got convinced otherwise.
