That was a brave move to up and walk away. It was the first time they won the World Series championship since 1918, and he leaves? Theres not much in the offerring as GM either... Phillies, The Dodgers and the Devil Rays have vacancies but will he fancy his chances at one of those?

I think it looks like he's burnt out, so I wouldn't think that we'll see him as a GM for next season.
