Baseball: Guardado to become free agent

it appears that the Mariners are not going to pick up the option on closer Eddie Guardado and let him become a free agent

it takes a dedicated front office to make over a 116 game winning team and turn it into a 90 game losing team in a few short years but the Mariners management has proceeded to do just that, makes you wonder what they are smoking down there at the Safeco Field offices
