I would have to agree with Enos on this one, although if the Red Sox had one the 1975 series I would've had to have said that one. Also, the 2001 series would have been better if the Yankees one, espeacially with 9-11 and everything.

Very true, they were both excellent world series, especially '55 because the dodgers actually one, and the impact that that had. It was also 7 games which adds to the greatness.

In my opinion, every World Series has something that makes it special. Carters and Mazeroski's WS wak-off HRs, among many others. My personal favorite would have to be the 1995 Baves WS, Since that was the last time they won it all.

u also have jeter coming up as mr november ...the untouchable RJ out of the bullpen giving up a then unheard of soriano homerun to take the lead and than luis gonzalez hitting a flair of the games best closer in game 7 ...doesnt get much better than that
