The Post's Troy E. Renck reports that the Rockies may not trade Preston Wilson until later on this season. Wilson has been linked to deals with the Diamondbacks, Mets and Padres, but the Rockies will likely wait until his trade value improves before pulling the trigger on a swap.

Wilson has drawn interest, most notably from San Diego before it landed Dave Roberts, but teams are leery because of the two operations on Wilson's left knee last season.

The Rockies offered Wilson to the New York Mets for Mike Cameron this winter only to be rebuffed, making it likely he won't be dealt until his value increases during the season.
