Who holds the record for most times walked in a season?
Any chance that Bonds will break it this year?

Barry already has the record and I know that he will break it agian t his year 177 — Barry Bonds, San Francisco, 2001


170 — Babe Ruth, New York Yankees, 1923


162 — Mark McGwire, St. Louis Cardinals, 1998

Umm... didn't Bonds have 198 walks a year or two ago? Though he is a walking machine, I don't think he can make it to 198 again.

Well i think it sucks they keep walking him..I guess its tactics but they should let the man play see what he can really do.

He's already got 50 walks this year, it seems likely that it will happen.

I read that and others like it on ESPN.com
I think that the IBB sucks... I know I wouldn't want to play with it. I was going to go to a Giants-Rockies game so I could see Barry blast one before he retires, but looks like the odds of that are slim.

Yeah, everyone is chicken of him. I liked the report I read where they wanted to get the fans to cluck like chickens when he's intentionally walked.
