Topic started on 23-11-2003 @ 06:49 AM by ultra_phoenix

" CUTLASS is a new twin-station HF radar to study the high latitude ionosphere. "

Where did I already heard this ? Wasn't it with the HAARP system ?

Well if it is anything to do with HAARP, then there's more than meets the eye.

ion.le.ac.uk...

The CUTLASS radars form part of SuperDARN , an international network of similar radars covering almost 180 degrees longitude in the northern hemisphere and including conjugate stations in the Antarctic.

Scary, so, there's a huge network of these devices.

Here's the superdarn website showing this network.

superdarn.jhuapl.edu...

I don't see the HAARP facility on there, but who knows. There's obviously a network of several countries all cooperating on this.

Of course, it could all just be innocent research.

There's a massive array halfway between Birmingham and Norwich, a route I often travel. It doesn't seem to be signposted, at least not from the main road.
