Yes, and an easy way to get alot of money is to set up people like Michael Jackson. With a big lie in this small world, you could become king or even better become rich as a king but without the responsibility. There should be no doubt that money makes people do things they normally wouldn't do. Didn't Judas get Jesus killed just to get 30 silver coins? Money makes your best friend into your worst enemy. I'd say like Antonina Vallentin:

Look at this scenario of what could have happened, this is just a theory, but it could very well be closer to the truth than what Fox would say (after all it's them who has the channel Fox Kids isn't it):

The parents of this child poisons their son who happens to love Michael Jackson. Then they start sending letters and stuff to MJ's management saying their son is dying and his "last wish" is to meet his hero. After abit of mailing back and forth MJ agrees, and the kid is sent to Neverland where he recovers because the poison gets time to run out of his body. Then the parents enter phase two in their plan and the reason why they started it all in the first place: to collect the big bucks with a lie to the copps and we all know how children can be when they are under pressure from the ones they love. They force the kid to lie and threaten to kill him for real if he doesn't play by their notes instead of the notes of his hero. I want to see these parents on a polygraph test. And I want their house searched, their habbits and histories checked. I want the truth. If you knew you could earn millions of dollars by telling a lie about a guy you hate. What would you do? It's the TV station Fox who should pay, for they have named their children's channel Fox Kids. It's they who molest if you ask me. May they take out the beam in their own eye before they start to flame against Michael Jackson. The name of their TV channel keeps evil memories alive with children who have been abused and gives molesters a laugh and pride. Fox means fox and the fox is known as a cunning dog. Nothing that is hidden will stay hidden. Everything will be reveiled. It is being reveiled even as we speek. Don't judge a person until he has been proven guilty. Are you all lawless?

There are two sides to every story.

Remember the O.J. story.. Nicoles family, the parents were never investigated for Nicole's death. Parents kill there own children, that was over looked. Who said they were innocent?

They will only persue criminal. That means they are not going for money. They want justice.

How can you compare Michael Jackson to anything biblical other than the creatures who dwelled in Sodom and Gomorrah?

No not yet.. he still makes money, and will be when that new compilation cd is released. The major thing against him, from a financial point, is the tax evasion on his ranch. Which will bankrupt him..

oops: forgot about all the money he "owes" to auction houses and employees.

Yes, he is in debt. However, he has assets to pay what he's gotta pay. Kinda like the money we make in petro dollars goes to pay down the interest on our national debt. He's gonna have to start liquidating his assets very soon. Can't wait to see the smile on Paul McCartney's face when he winds up with the Beatles' catalog that his "friend" Jackson outbid him for.

I think this is too sweeping a statement. Evil and good have always existed. People are just now more aware that evil exists in the boardroom, the church, the family room, the school, the sandbox. Morality does still exist which is evidence by all those greatly concerned with whether this story is ture. That outrage says to me...morality still has a place and a hold on us. Not every one of us...but it never did.

No offense, but Michael Jackson is fukken freak of nature. A spoiled rotton man-child who has had everything he has ever desired. He must be held accountable for his actions just like everybody else on the food chain. He made his bed, now he'll have to lie in it. Without the little boys.

Michael has had more than many people. He did not get to have a childhood. He had one of those stagemanaging, freak families. Doesn't mean he's innocent...just means he went without a few normal experiences that many of us take for granted

In closing...I think it's likely he's guilty. I am anxious to hear the evidence. But I do see the important points raised by the other poster in an effort to deny ignorance...or to not accept the line we're fed. We get fed a lot of news and I think we all can admit that much of the news is innacurate. We all have our favorite news sources but we rarely agree on its accuracy.

Look, I love his older music. He was a phenomenal entertainer. But when you've been watching this guy morph over twenty years and see his beyond bizarro behavior, uh.. sleeping with young boys? The guy's guilty and they're gonna prove it. Unless he does himself in. Just wait and see.

I heard on a local talk radio show that after it happened, the parents brought him back to neverland ranch for another visit. Why on earth would they bring him back after it happened? Of course at this point, there are alot of rumors, and this hasn't been proven. Has anyone else heard this too? They haven't said it on the "news" channels.

I think the parents are divorced or seperated. The father is seeking full custody.

Also, pedophiles are so disgusting, that even murdering rapist bank robbers in prison, want to express their anger at ones in jail. That in itself says how low it really is to do something like that.

It is amazing how the world perceives a rich pedophile vs a poor one. I think it is so telling that they took two days to bring this guy in and then let him go on bail like it was paying a parking ticket.

Anyone that was not wealthy or famous would have been behind bars for 48 hours instead.

This case is not about right or wrong for me, it is about the parallel justice systems that exist.

Right, and if he does go down he will probably be a special case that need his/her own cell because of his social stature/money

Like I said before, he should be put in general population, just like anyone else would.
Pedos should not get protection that others do not just because their crime was so discusting that others want to tear them apart.

Justice usually serves it self in the end, weather served in the courts or not.

They are not going to be able to do much for him if someone breaks his nose.
I wonder what he would look like after that?

I still believe this is a setup. As for biblical perallells, we are currently living in the time of fulfillment of the prophecies. Every day a new one is completed. And a rather androgyne star who sings songs for the rest of the world carrying the name Michael, Son/Arch of Israel who is accused of the sins of Sodom isn't something the Spirit evades just like that. Where the carcas is the vultures gather.... Satan is the procecuter of Heaven. He accuse "the brothers" (Michael is the Prince of Israel and her converts, he defends the brothers in Heaven) day and night. God is the Judge. The Satan must present two witnesses and so must the defendant according to the Law of God. But enough of that. Let's talk about money instead. Which I believe is the main motive behind this potential conspiracy against one of the (atleast potentially) wealthiest entertainers in the world who is on the verge of economic collapse making this an excellent time to get a chance to run away with a share of his values and fame before he may become bankrupt.

You said the mother of this child wants justice, not money, and that this was the reason she sued him publicly, not civil. I don't know about US legislation much, but here in Norway we also have a difference between public and civil trials, and there is a great difference in how much proof is needed to convict a person in the two given trial types, and there is nothing that hinders a person who is judged innocent in a public trial to be judged guilty in a civil lawsuit, eventhough the proofs and testimonials are the same. Normally they file a public trial to win the case, and afterwards they often file a new, civil case to get the economic compensation. Since there is less proof needed to win a case in a civilian vs. a public trial, you would be an idiot to start with a civilian lawsuit if your intention was to get both fame and fortune. Why shouldn't this be a natural course in this case also? Besides; is it even possible to avoid a public trial in a case like this?

And fame is also a great factor here, and a public trial is more prestigeous to win than a civil lawsuit, and the father of this twelveyearold said to a Brittish newspaper that Janet (the mother of this child who shares her name with Michael Jackson's sister btw) never cared for her child, but that the whole situation had made her "queen of parties" and Michael Jackson gave her a car and many expensive gifts. He payed for the boy's treatment and so on. But when the child got well, Michael closed his wallet and left them on their own. The mother was back to bread and milk and she and her kid may have felt this as difficult in many ways as you can probably understand. And it wasn't until way after this had happened, that the psychiatrist of this child was alarmed by what the kid said during a consultation. A kid who had been given a taste of Heaven, but now possibly felt rejected by his hero, indignated and left on his own with perhaps a couple of illusions he had had of his hero, broken. I'm not saying that the kid is lying, but there's always a possibility, and in this case it's even likely when you look at what they could gain by a simple lie and world opinion in their backs. If they should loose in a public trial, they could always go for the second best, a civilian lawsuit. And then they would gather even more sympathy for their obvious efforts to fight a Goliath of sorts. I think I smell a rat here. But it might of course just be the pet of my neighbour. He owns a rat (unless my cat has already eaten it, that is).

Anyway I think it is pathetic to either say he is guilty or innocent before the jury has spoken and the judge has closed the case. Let's rather discuss proofs and relevant information instead of spouting our hate towards pedophiles. Everyone hates pedophiles. The guy is innocent until the oposite is proven. If he was a pedophile, why doesn't he do like the rest of them, breed on their own family or take trips to Thailand and similar countries where child prostitution is legal or crimes against children likely wouldn't be brought into the court of law? Atleast not for him who can pay? Give the guy a break and let him speek first. It disgusts and sickens me to see this mob of people who flames against their Judasgoat without a shread of proof crying "Crucify! Crucify!".

Am I the only one here who thinks this case stinks? This is a conspiracy board, is it not? Then let's discuss the potential conspiracy against one of the most marcant public figures through the last fourty years. If he is guilty, the court will convict him. That I'm sure of. Let's just not hope that this becomes the farse it looks like is in the coming, and that the court of law becomes a circus where the C�sar sits with his thumb willing to bring the audience a murder of justice if it gains his support. Give them air to breate. I just hope that Michael isn't put on row for something he did not do. But if he is guilty, he must pay his dues. Let this be measured in time, not stabwounds made from prison daggers. The Marius has spoken.
