Yes, and an easy way to get alot of money is to set up people like Michael Jackson. With a big lie in this small world, you could become king or even better become rich as a king but without the responsibility. I will not judge in this case until I know the allegations are correct and not just some parents with lust for big bucks.
There should be no doubt that money makes people do things they normally wouldn't do. Didn't Judas get Jesus killed just to get 30 silver coins? Money makes your best friend into your worst enemy. I'd say like Antonina Vallentin:
"Treason dwells close to trust, and can strike with such confidence only becuase it is embedded in faith and loyalty"
Look at this scenario of what could have happened, this is just a theory, but it could very well be closer to the truth than what Fox would say (after all it's them who has the channel Fox Kids isn't it):
The parents of this child poisons their son who happens to love Michael Jackson. Then they start sending letters and stuff to MJ's management saying their son is dying and his "last wish" is to meet his hero. After abit of mailing back and forth MJ agrees, and the kid is sent to Neverland where he recovers because the poison gets time to run out of his body. Then the parents enter phase two in their plan and the reason why they started it all in the first place: to collect the big bucks with a lie to the copps and we all know how children can be when they are under pressure from the ones they love. They force the kid to lie and threaten to kill him for real if he doesn't play by their notes instead of the notes of his hero. I want to see these parents on a polygraph test. And I want their house searched, their habbits and histories checked. I want the truth. If you knew you could earn millions of dollars by telling a lie about a guy you hate. What would you do? It's the TV station Fox who should pay, for they have named their children's channel Fox Kids. It's they who molest if you ask me. May they take out the beam in their own eye before they start to flame against Michael Jackson. The name of their TV channel keeps evil memories alive with children who have been abused and gives molesters a laugh and pride. Fox means fox and the fox is known as a cunning dog. Nothing that is hidden will stay hidden. Everything will be reveiled. It is being reveiled even as we speek. Don't judge a person until he has been proven guilty. Are you all lawless?
Blessings,

They will only persue criminal. That means they are not going for money. They want justice.

How can you compare Michael Jackson to anything biblical other than the creatures who dwelled in Sodom and Gomorrah?

The parents of this child poisons their son who happens to love Michael Jackson. There is no way in hell MOST parents would subject their children to such perverse illigality.
Then they start sending letters and stuff to MJ's management saying their son is dying and his "last wish" is to meet his hero. THE KID WAS DYING OF CANCER!!! PROVEN.
After abit of mailing back and forth MJ agrees, and the kid is sent to Neverland where he recovers because the poison gets time to run out of his body. They force the kid to lie and threaten to kill him for real if he doesn't play by their notes instead of the notes of his hero.
The authorities use an interviewing technique with the children. They have the kid call the target, for example, to try and catch or trap. It's very effective. Then there are other steps to the process to determine the validity of the child's claims. It is very difficult for a kid whose lying to pull it off due to this process. Anyone who has a kid understands this process well. Also, due to the law passed in California after Jackson walked last time (by paying a family off for over 25 MILLION DOLLARS) the accusing child is compelled to testify, making lying all the trickier.
I want to see these parents on a polygraph test. And I want their house searched, their habbits and histories checked. I want the truth. You're looking in the wrong place for a conspiracy. The only conspiracy here is that the L.A. police might've done the NEO CONS a big favor by arresting MJ at the very same time Bush is getting hammered in the UK by protesters.
If you knew you could earn millions of dollars by telling a lie about a guy you hate. What would you do? You suggest we would all, each and every one, succomb to this money lust? That's a very sweeping allegation. Would you subject your child to such a perverse plot for millions of dollars? Do you have a child?

The Bible refers/relates to all mankind. People have used the Bible to justify and examine human nature as long as it has existed.
There is no way in hell MOST parents would subject their children to such perverse illigality.
Nobody said anything about Most parents. Munchausen by Proxy exists. I'm not at ALL suggesting that's what happened. It is on that table as one of a million possibilities.
THE KID WAS DYING OF CANCER!!! PROVEN.
I remember a case, I think here in the South, where a woman was supposedly dying. It was only more than a year later they learned she was making herself sick.

I didn't take this as "everyone of us would". I took this as a question posed to have each of us examine our vulnerability to huge fortune. See what Wall street has to say about tossing out ethics for money. It does happen

I heard on a local talk radio show that after it happened, the parents brought him back to neverland ranch for another visit. Why on earth would they bring him back after it happened? Of course at this point, there are alot of rumors, and this hasn't been proven. Has anyone else heard this too? They haven't said it on the "news" channels.

It is amazing how the world perceives a rich pedophile vs a poor one. I think it is so telling that they took two days to bring this guy in and then let him go on bail like it was paying a parking ticket.
Anyone that was not wealthy or famous would have been behind bars for 48 hours instead.
This case is not about right or wrong for me, it is about the parallel justice systems that exist.
