i recently was forced into updating my iTunes to the new v7
ever since doing so, my video iPod has been buggy
it randomly restarts itself, normally after i've skipped a song (no, there is no specific song it restarts after i skip)

it was working perfectly with iTunes 6

anyone know what i should do?

EDIT: i forgot to mention that i'm using a PC

Just switch back to the previous version you had.

I know there was a recent ipod software update. Maybe you should use the stand alone apple program to update your ipod software if you haven't already.

it won't let me
the iPod itself won't run on iTunes version six anymore anyway

unfortunately, i was forced to upgrade because i connected it to a friend's computer (which i already made sure was virus free and certified completely clean) and it auto-updated
