Was talking with buddies while watching football today...

Does anyone know of any evidence of favoritism towards Freemason (or other known Frats) members in getting into pro sports, or getting a shot at the pros over others non-freemasons? Or any discussions on the matter towards pro sports.

Ive seen all sorts of talk about political and commercial professionals and the favoritism they receive out there in the world. Not that Im saying its a bad thing or a good thing. Im still on the fence on this issue. But I got to thinking about this and looking quickly, I didnt find much of anything on this topic.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I see this would have been better placed in the Secret Societies section, sorry.

I could not imagine a freemason getting any sort of bump. The only bump that is common is White athletes have an easier time getting their foot in the door in sports dominated by Black athletes like basketball because it is easier to market a White athlete to an audience that is mostly white.

This is not to say that all White athletes are completely undeserving of any of the accolades they earn, but rather White athletes are given a benefit of the doubt or a helpful nudge upward that they would not get if they were black.

Some of you take a pock shot at the Masons every chance you get. You people really need to let it rest. Some of your theories are beyond ridiculousness.

I don't know, there could be something to this. Check it out:

See the spot on the kicker's butt? Just like a bumper sticker. Let's enlarge it:

OMG, IT'S TRUE!!!

When my Dad owned the New England Patriots in the late 80's/early 90's,

there was a sense of an old-boy network with the other owners

(at the time, I thought it was because the rest of them were billionaires
and my Dad wasn't)

Then, at an Owner's Meeting in Florida one year, I was told by a reporter
that a lot of the owner's were Masons...

Later, my Dad, the make a long story short, got sort of shafted by the powers
that be in the NFl when it came time to sell, and when the league expanded
by 2 teams around 1992...

Anyway- i do not know if the Mason network is alive and active with the NFL
owners- all I know is my Dad was mistreated, and he was not a Mason...

Then again, he was born poor too- and most of the money there was old money.

Who knows? It's possible.
