Yes we have, they're 100% confirmed missile launch tests. Pretty awesome sight nonetheless.

No idea what it is. Interesting, though.
As a side note, it's titled Yosemite near Area 51. I may be wrong, but Yosemite is nowhere near Groom.

That is a missile launch. Probably from Vandenberg AFB in California. I see the same thing here in Phoenix when missiles are launched from Vandenberg or White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico.

Yup - this and lots like it have been nauseatingly reviewed already at ATS on many threads.

It's a missile launch, you're viewing the stage separation at altitude, about 80 miles downrange. I live close enough to Vandenberg to see these launches all the time.

They look cool, but there's nothing mysterious about them...
