Forget whether justified or not thats not the question of this thread.
Insurgencies are not uncommon and have been dealt with throughout history. Insurgencies are not sporting much of a track record either. The north
vietnamese didn't win untill they marched a huge conventional army into the south.
So whats the deal with iraq?
Is it possible that Iraq is being used to refine weapons and tactics for dealing with mid east enemies who cower among innocents. Is Iraq a training
camp for a future larger war in the mideast? Thousands of live targets "terrorist or wannabe terrorists" are flocking there, which is great in its
own. We are seeing what they are and aren't capable of.
A huge real live fire exercise?
Is this the war which brings the US from a cold war stance to a warm war "flare ups and small theater" stance?
