Other platforms could make a differance

The truth is in the pudding....If senator George Allen (R) Virginia would have given Gail Parker (GP) Virginia the backing for the speed rail in D.C. he would be in office right now. This goes to serve notice to the republican and democrats in Washington that the reign of power on the political system they hold is starting to crumble...Year by year the independant platforms take or break a two party strangle hold. To those of you who back these two parties will start seeing a trend in the future on how things play out for you. In 20-30 years the trend will have shifted from swing votes to take over and a full power shift. As the Reganomics backers start to age and die off a new breed of political parties will make their way up the chain. We are slowly starting to impregnate politics and making small shift changes and slowly weeding out the career politicians.

I think that the fall of a two party only system is destined to fall. The only questions are is... When? Why hasn't it happened already?

I don't think that American have quite gotten into there heads that Democrats and Republicans are just two peas in a pod. Once they do, there will be change.
